Account Manager | Creative / Shopper Marketing
Hybrid, 3 days in office / 2 days WFH
An independent creative marketing agency is looking for an Account Manager to join their team, working closely with one of their largest consumer healthcare clients across a portfolio of well-known brands.
This isn’t necessarily your traditional Account Manager role. It’s much more about keeping all the moving parts organised, managing multiple stakeholders and making sure each project moves smoothly from the client through to the creative team and ultimately delivery. You’ll be taking incoming requests, gathering the information, specs and approvals needed, turning these into clear creative briefs and keeping everything on track. A big part of the role is being proactive, chasing what you need and having the confidence to manage expectations and push back when timelines aren’t realistic.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What you’ll be doing:
- You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day running of a busy consumer healthcare account, coordinating multiple shopper and in-store marketing projects across different brands and retailers.
- You’ll work closely with client stakeholders to gather briefs, specifications and approvals, then turn these into clear briefs for the creative team.
- From there, you’ll keep each project moving through the studio, working closely with project management, creative and artwork teams to manage deadlines, capacity and delivery.
- It’s a role for someone who enjoys being at the centre of everything and can confidently keep both the client and internal teams on track.
What we’re looking for:
- We’re looking for someone with around 2–5 years' experience in Account Management, Client Services or a similar role within a creative, marketing or design agency.
- You’ll need to be really organised, proactive and confident, comfortable juggling lots of smaller projects and stakeholders at once and happy to chase for what you need. Just as importantly, you’ll be comfortable managing client expectations and pushing back when something isn’t realistic.
- Shopper marketing, retail or FMCG experience would be a big bonus, but it isn’t essential. The right agency experience, understanding of creative workflows and personality/chemistry with the team are just as important.
