GMP Account Manager

We are on the lookout for a GMP Account Manager responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of clients, combining platform knowledge with strong relationship management to drive customer satisfaction. This is a client-facing, billable role where you will work in close partnership with the Head of GMP, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients - owning relationships, driving platform adoption, and dealing with operational tasks efficiently and confidently.

What You Will Be Doing

Client Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary client contact across your account portfolio, managing day-to-day queries and longer-term strategic conversations and planning.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality client-facing materials including presentations, reports, and QBR preparation.
  • Onboard new clients, expertly managing the migration process and relevant operational tasks.
  • Manage contract renewals processes.
  • Provide guidance on GMP product capabilities and best practices, aligned to each client's specific KPIs and maturity goals.
  • Keep up to date with product developments across the GMP ecosystem and proactively share relevant updates and thought leadership with clients.

Strategic Growth & Account Development

  • Identify upsell and expansion opportunities across your accounts.
  • Support the development of solution proposals and commercial frameworks.

Collaboration & Operations

  • Work in close collaboration with the Head of GMP to develop and execute account strategy, escalation resolution, and growth opportunities.
  • Partner with FinOps and Technical teams to ensure seamless service delivery across billing and platform operations and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Contribute and lead on ideas to improve client management and operations, using and participating in the development of AI and automation solutions.

  • 3–5 years of experience in a paid media or ad tech consultancy environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Google Marketing Platform (DV360, CM360, SA360).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven experience managing client relationships at an operational level.
  • Comfortable producing client-facing content, such as QBR presentations, efficiently and to brief.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset - able to identify or qualify challenges and provide the path to resolution for clients.

Preferred

  • Background in paid search is preferred and broader GMP platform experience essential.
  • Experience with GMP Licence Reseller operations and management (Google NTA & contract renewal processes, billing processes etc.).
  • Proven experience using and innovating with AI solutions to improve task efficiency.
