KRD Commercial is a Scotland-based commercial finance brokerage that provides structured funding solutions for businesses and property investors across Scotland and the wider UK. The firm specialises in commercial mortgages, development finance, bridging loans, and business funding, working with a broad panel of UK banks, challenger lenders, and specialist finance providers. By focusing on understanding each transaction, selecting appropriate lenders, and managing efficient completion, KRD Commercial supports clients whose circumstances may not fit standard criteria. The team prioritises clarity, professionalism, discretion, and long-term relationships, collaborating closely with accountants, solicitors, commercial agents, and professional introducers to deliver well-structured finance solutions.
Role Description
The Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Wishaw, responsible for managing and developing relationships with business and property investor clients. Day-to-day activities include:

- Handling inbound and referred enquiries
- Gathering client information
- Supporting the structuring of funding proposals in line with lenders’ criteria

The role involves:
- Liaising with lenders, solicitors, valuers, and other professionals to progress applications
- Monitoring deal pipelines
- Ensuring timely completion of transactions
The Account Manager will:
- Maintain accurate records
- Prepare updates and reports on client cases
- Contribute to a high standard of client service and professional communication
This position also supports business development by:
- Nurturing existing relationships
- Identifying opportunities for repeat or additional funding
Qualifications
- Strong client relationship management skills, including the ability to build trust, communicate clearly, and maintain long-term professional connections.
- Experience in commercial or business finance, banking, or a related financial services environment, with an understanding of lending processes and criteria.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases, track progress, and meet deadlines.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in documentation, data entry, and compliance with internal and external procedures.
- Confident verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients, lenders, and professional partners.
- Proficiency with standard office software and CRM or case management systems to maintain records and produce reports.
- Ability to work independently on-site while collaborating effectively within a small, professional team.
- Relevant education or training in finance, business, or a related field is advantageous; prior experience in commercial property or SME funding is a plus.
