Oxygen 8 Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a leading Life Sciences organisation to find an Account Manager to join their growing commercial team in London.

About the Role

Our client is looking for an Account Manager to own the client relationship from the moment a deal is won through to delivery and revenue recognition. You'll work directly with Sales, Sales Operations, Customer Success, and Finance to make sure every account you manage is commissioned, delivered, and recognised as revenue — with nothing left stranded post-sale.

This isn't a quota-carrying, net-new business sales role. Instead, you're managing existing client accounts post-close, and you're measured on revenue pull-through: making sure the deals sales closes turn into delivered services and recognised revenue, on schedule and without drop-off. It's a deliberately junior Account Manager position with a clear runway, built as a launchpad into inside sales, lead generation, or full new-business sales roles down the line, while giving you exposure across nearly every commercial function of the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with Customer Success to hand over scope, lead internal kick-offs, and follow through on revenue recognition milestones
  • Identify and escalate delivery disruptions (e.g. project delays) before they impact your accounts' revenue
  • Report on account-level revenue recognition forecasts and pipeline health to stakeholders across the business

What You'll Bring

  • Background in Life Sciences, either in the healthcare industry or at a healthcare-focused agency
  • Solid understanding of the end-to-end sales process
  • Experience in proposal development and delivery
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales management tools (e.g. Salesforce)
