Title: Account Manager

Sector: Housing / Construction / Public Sector

Location: Home based with occasional regional travel to visit suppliers (Wales, East Midlands, or East Anglia)

Salary & Package: £55,000 - £65,000 depending on experience + strong benefits package

Sea Global are delighted to be partnering with a leading non-profit organisation operating within the social housing and construction sector to recruit an Account Manager into their growing team.

This is an outward-facing leadership role responsible for:

  • Growing the member base
  • Strengthening strategic relationships
  • Increasing the adoption of procurement solutions

The successful candidate will take ownership of a regional member portfolio, acting as a key interface between members, suppliers, and internal teams.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with existing members.
  • Identify and secure new member relationships and increase utilisation of the company's services.
  • Represent the organisation at industry events, meetings, and conferences.
  • Monitor regional performance against targets and KPIs, providing regular reporting and market insight to senior leadership.
  • Work collaboratively across internal teams to deliver a seamless member experience.
  • Identify opportunities for service improvement and innovation.

Experience & Requirements

  • Proven experience in a member, client, account management, business development, or procurement-focused role.
  • A basic understanding of the social/affordable housing sector.
  • A basic understanding of procurement, ideally in a public sector environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams while operating with a high degree of autonomy.
  • A proactive, relationship-led approach with the ability to drive positive change.
