From skip hire and hazardous waste disposal to a wider range of construction site services, the company acts as a centralized hub for customers across the UK.
The business is focused on improving the customer journey and becoming a leading construction site marketplace in the UK. What You Will Do
- Manage a portfolio of key customer accounts, acting as their primary point of contact
- Build strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers and influencers
- Maintain regular contact with customers through phone calls, emails, video meetings, and face-to-face meetings
- Understand each customer’s needs and recommend the most appropriate services and solutions
- Analyse account data in Salesforce to understand current wallet share and identify growth opportunities
- Identify and close upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts
- Prepare quotes, follow up on customer enquiries, and convert opportunities into revenue
- Support the onboarding of new customers transferred from the Business Development team
- Work closely with the Account Co-ordination team to ensure an excellent customer experience
- Handle escalated queries and complaints, identify their root causes, and implement lasting solutions
- Negotiate supplier rates while protecting profitability targets
- Stay informed about market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity

Your Profile
- At least two years of experience in sales, account management, or a similar customer-facing commercial role
- Relevant experience managing and growing existing customer relationships
- Experience in waste management, construction services, or a related industry would be particularly valuable
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to take responsibility
- Commercial and target-driven, with the ability to identify and close growth opportunities
- Confident communicating with customers over the phone and in meetings
- Able to build credible relationships with senior customers and key decision-makers
- Organized and comfortable prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, dependable, and focused on finding solutions
- Collaborative and comfortable working closely with sales and operational teams
- Growth mindset and motivation to continually improve

Salary & Benefits
