Description Overview

This Contract/B2B Account Manager role involves effectively planning and executing account management in line with the defined strategic plan of the customer/product portfolio. You will drive and build sustainable sales growth through strong customer relationships (both internally and externally), collaborating closely with manufacturing, regulatory, quality, and supply chain functions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Achieve turnover and gross profit budgets for Perrigo Omega’s product range globally.
  • Develop new and existing customer portfolios in line with agreed business plans and objectives.

This is a fixed-term contract (6-7 months).

  • Customer Relationship Management

    • Manage and nurture relationships with allocated customers to drive business growth.
    • Develop tailored growth plans for each stakeholder.
  • Strategy and GrowthLeadership

    • Identify opportunities for business expansion with existing and prospective customers.
    • Attend marketing campaigns, customer reviews, and internal meetings (e.g., sales operations, supply chain, regulatory).
    • Actively engage in prospecting new business to maximise manufacturing capacity and portfolio utilisation.
  • Forecasting and Data Driven Decisions

    • Monitor and influence customer forecasting against budgets.
    • Contribute to Perrigo’s Monthly Demand Forecast Process to ensure effective SAP-executed forecasting.
  • Stakeholder Engagement

    • Negotiate, liaise, and communicate both internally and externally to establish profitable and sustainable business relationships.
  • Collaboration with Perrigo Sectors

    • Partner with the Head of Contract Sales to align strategic priorities with manufactured assets within Perrigo Omega’s portfolio.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales/business development within the FMCG/Generic market, ideally in the UK/EU.
  • Proven track record in dealing with multi-level management and functional teams in blue-chip companies.
  • Excellent customer-focused orientation, with the ability to represent customer needs internally while adhering to corporate standards and processes.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills—both collaboration and leadership are crucial.
  • Ability to analyze data and derive actionable intelligence for market trends and customer strategies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Advantageous Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in business, marketing, or healthcare.
