Account Manager
The Account Manager is a pivotal member of the ITG team, carrying responsibility for client service delivery, operational excellence, innovation, project management, and team support – creating partnerships with our clients. The client is a well-loved hospitality brand, and this role involves delivering a variety of projects across print production, fulfillment, and delivery.
The key focus of the role is to enhance our ways of working to drive efficiencies, whilst supporting the Account Director to communicate, track, and achieve all financial targets, adhere to commercial standards, and optimize commercial benefits for our client.
Most of the print buying will be litho and digital, which we hope you can bring your knowledge to and service our client! You'll be supported by a Production team based at ITG's head office, leaving you to focus on providing first-class customer service. On top of that, you’ll provide administrative excellence in all invoicing, work-in-progress, briefing, and supplier management. You thrive in a fully client-facing environment and understand the nuances between integrating yourself into a client’s marketing team and being an Account Manager delivering the best to your client.

Key Responsibilities
Client Focus
- Building strong relationships and partnerships with our client to understand their business, strategy, and objectives.
- Owner and guardian of stock management – owning all aspects of stock management, ensuring the client is informed with the right information to make decisions based on data, and ultimately ensuring the estate has everything they need. Can analyze data and recommend accordingly, as well as proactively supply context to reasoning for suggestions, with attention to detail and identifying solutions for the client.
- Delivering best-in-class client servicing, and continuously driving improvements to the ways we work.
- Working closely with our supply chain to ensure projects are on time, on-brand, and meet the brief.
- Leading on end-to-end delivery of key projects – leading and driving critical path adherence.
- Providing regular reporting on account and commercial performance.
ITG
- Best-in-class account services – status reports, critical path, and timelines to set the account up for success.
- Driving all financial management – accurate and competitive quotes, on-time invoicing.
- Leveraging the ITG network to ensure each brief is considered but also includes recommendations for how to evolve our client offering through innovation or new services.
- Ensuring all quality-control policies are adhered to through the implementation and continuous monitoring of best practice, while continuously looking to improve ways of working.
- We need someone who can be a strong support to the Account Director while supporting and being a team player.

How Will I Succeed?
- By developing a partnership with the client. A service-minded approach.
- Be a team player. Building your ITG network to understand our full offering and how best to introduce Subject Matter Experts to evolve the relationship.
- We need a print and stock management expert, with an understanding of core marketing principles to challenge briefs.
- Strong understanding of hospitality POS and menu landscape.
- Experience of creative/art working/print processes.
- A project management mindset with problem-solving skills.
- First and foremost, you should be customer-centric. Our people go above and beyond to deliver exceptional customer service, every time.
- Maintaining excellent customer service through outstanding account management – solving issues as and when they arise and making sure that delivery is right every time, and on time.
- You won’t be micromanaged here, the ability to manage your own time and deliver quality with speed is essential.
- You bring great print knowledge with you, especially in litho and digital. Even better, you understand the production process behind this.
- You enjoy getting the best deals, print buying is your forte, and you know how to negotiate the best deals whilst maintaining quality and timely delivery.
- This is a busy account, working off large spreadsheets and keeping on top of multiple projects comes natural to you.
- Communication is key – open and transparent, provides context to situations, is collaborative, and solutions-driven.
- Detail focus/accuracy – ensures briefs are delivered right, first time, and quality assurance is best in class.
- Proactivity and accountability – driving the account and making life easier for the client team.
- Delivery focused – driving all projects with clear status, actions, and next steps, and most importantly, timelines.
- Performance and savings focused – delivering against KPIs, driving savings, and innovation for the account.
- Positive mindset and calming influence – comfortable working in a fast-paced environment balancing longer-term strategic projects as well as tactical BAU tasks – adapting flexibly to support our client.

Key Skills Required for this Role
- Highly numerate and commercially aware.
- Computer literate with good knowledge of Excel – a core part of the role is stock management, which is largely Excel based, you will have agency expertise support, but we need someone who is competent.
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
