About the Role
We are seeking a customer-focused Account Manager to join our Manufacturing and Consumer Services practice. This is primarily a relationship and account growth role, responsible for expanding existing customer engagements and developing smaller and mid-sized accounts into strategic partnerships.
You will manage a portfolio of existing accounts, including tail accounts and emerging clients, and will work closely with customers to understand their business priorities, strengthen relationships, and identify opportunities to deliver additional value. Success in this role requires a strong customer presence and a willingness to spend time at client locations, becoming a trusted advisor to both business and technology stakeholders.
The focus of this role is on cultivating and growing existing customer relationships through a consultative and value-driven approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and grow a portfolio of existing manufacturing and consumer services accounts.
- Develop and execute account plans to increase customer value, revenue, and wallet share.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with customer stakeholders across business and technology functions.
- Spend time onsite with customers to understand their challenges, priorities, and strategic objectives.
- Scale smaller and mid-sized accounts into larger, more strategic relationships.
- Identify opportunities across digital engineering, application services, data and AI, cloud, infrastructure, and managed services.
- Collaborate with delivery teams, industry specialists, and practices to bring the firm’s full capabilities to clients.
- Leverage our integrated Experience Design Studio to help customers improve customer and employee experiences and accelerate digital transformation initiatives.
- Drive account expansion through cross-selling and upselling while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and trust.
- Develop account forecasts, growth plans, and pipeline visibility to support business objectives.

Industry Experience
Experience within Manufacturing, Consumer Services, Retail, or Consumer Products is desirable (this includes travel & hospitality and professional services). However, candidates with a proven track record of successfully growing and scaling accounts in other industries will also be considered.
Preferred Knowledge Areas
Exposure to one or more of the following areas would be advantageous:
- eCommerce and digital commerce platforms
- Supply chain and logistics processes
- Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Infor
- Digital engineering and product development
- Data and analytics solutions
- Cloud and infrastructure services
- Application modernization and managed services
Deep technical expertise is not required, but an appreciation of these domains will help identify opportunities and engage effectively with customer stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
Essential
- 7–10 years of experience in account management, client relationship management, or customer success roles within IT services, technology consulting, or outsourcing.
- Demonstrated success in growing and scaling existing accounts.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities.
- A consultative, customer-centric approach.
- Willingness to travel and spend time at customer locations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across matrixed teams.
- Strong communication, presentation, and commercial skills.

Preferred
- Experience supporting clients in manufacturing, consumer services, retail, or consumer products sectors.
- Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives and enterprise technology landscapes.
- Experience positioning customer experience, design, or digital innovation capabilities.
- Understanding of engineering, data, cloud, and infrastructure services.
