MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE
PayPoint is a market-leading Payment Service Provider, delivering payment and commerce solutions to a diverse client base that includes energy suppliers, local authorities, charities, housing organisations and commercial businesses.
As our client portfolio continues to grow, we recognise the importance of providing dedicated support and strategic focus to our small and mid-sized clients. Many of these clients have good growth potential and represent valuable opportunities to expand our services and strengthen long-term partnerships.
The Strategic Account Manager will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of clients, ensuring they receive proactive account management, regular engagement and commercial support. A major focus for this role will be re-engaging inactive accounts, identifying new revenue opportunities and to drive the adoption of PayPoint's wider portfolio of solutions with this subset of clients.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
