About the role
We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join our dynamic team at our Cobham office. This role is dedicated to managing our portfolio of Bespoke Insurance customers, ensuring exceptional service delivery with a focus on customer retention. You’ll also be responsible for cultivating referrals and identifying cross-selling opportunities.
As an Account Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying sales opportunities and building strong relationships with existing and prospective customers. You’ll achieve this by going out to clients and conducting in-person meetings to assess their needs, delivering tailored solutions, resulting in a truly personalised service. You’ll be responsible for managing our existing portfolio of customers, promoting and selling our Bespoke insurance products and services within our local community (including London), cultivating leads, and achieving sales targets.
At the core of our approach lies the cultivation of strong relationships and the practice of cross-selling to ensure our customers receive tailored services that align perfectly with their needs. This commitment is reflected in our exceptional customer retention rate, with over 90% of customers choosing to renew their insurance with us annually. As part of our team, you'll have a remarkable opportunity to capitalise on existing relationships and deliver exceptional service to our customers.
Working collaboratively with your colleagues, you'll not only generate new leads but also navigate through our existing pipeline, engage with the local community through networking activities, and handle all inbound inquiries. These efforts are geared towards retaining and expanding our Bespoke book of business and achieving our growth objectives.
To enable you to offer an exceptional service to all of our customers, we provide a supportive, ongoing learning environment. Together with your team, your training will include a mixture of classroom-based and hands-on learning.
This role falls under Insurance Distribution Directive requirements, and as a result, role holders will be required to demonstrate ongoing Continuous Professional Development in role, along with undergoing regular re-screening to show that they are of “Good Repute”. Further information can be found in the FCA Handbook.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
