About The Role

As an Account Manager, you will lead the delivery of integrated Facilities Management (FM) services across a portfolio of public sector contracts. With a strong focus on Hard Services, you will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, statutory compliance, financial performance, and exceptional customer service whilst building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

The role is responsible for managing multidisciplinary service delivery teams, driving performance against contractual obligations, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, innovation, and growth. You will act as the senior operational lead for your account, ensuring services are delivered efficiently, safely, and in line with agreed budgets and service standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Facilities Management professional with a Total Facilities Management (TFM) background and a strong understanding of Hard Services, engineering compliance, and operational contract management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of integrated Hard and Soft Facilities Management services across the allocated account.
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership to site-based teams and specialist service providers.
  • Ensure all services are delivered in accordance with contractual requirements, service level agreements, and company standards.
  • Maintain full compliance with statutory regulations, health and safety legislation, and client governance requirements.
  • Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes, lifecycle activities, and reactive maintenance delivery.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve operational procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Manage specialist subcontractors, ensuring compliance with service specifications, RAMS, KPIs, and quality standards.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for operational service delivery.
  • Monitor service performance and implement improvement plans where required.
  • Manage contract revenues, budgets, and expenditure, ensuring financial targets and profitability objectives are achieved.
  • Produce and present monthly performance reports and management information to clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Lead service mobilisation, transformation initiatives, and operational projects from inception through to completion.
  • Drive continuous improvement, innovation, sustainability, and social value initiatives across the account.
  • Support business growth activities, including contract renewals, variations, and service development opportunities.
  • Lead, develop, and coach operational teams, creating a high-performance culture focused on safety, service excellence, and customer satisfaction.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
