What You'll Be Doing
The Role
As Account Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of hard facilities management services across your portfolio. You'll lead operational teams, manage client relationships, oversee contractors and suppliers, and ensure contractual performance is achieved through excellent service delivery.
- Working closely with the Account Director, you'll play a key role in driving business performance, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting the strategic development of operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of hard services across a multi-site portfolio.
- Manage and support Operational Managers, Technical Supervisors, Engineers, and support teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders and key decision-makers.
- Ensure contractual KPIs, SLAs, compliance requirements, and quality standards are consistently achieved.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Monitor, forecast, and control budgets to deliver commercial performance.
- Manage contractor and supplier performance to ensure service excellence.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing client relationships and increase revenue.
- Support strategic planning and contribute to operational development initiatives.
- Lead, coach, and develop teams to maximise engagement and performance.
What We're Looking For
About You
You'll be an experienced facilities management professional with a strong background in hard services delivery and client account management.
Essential Experience
- Proven success in a similar Account Manager, Operations Manager, or Facilities Management leadership role.
- Experience managing hard services within a multi-site commercial environment.
- Strong client relationship management experience, engaging effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrable experience leading operational and field-based teams.
- Experience managing budgets and driving commercial performance.
- Track record of delivering service improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Experience leading teams through change and business growth.

Qualifications
- Relevant qualification in Facilities Management, Customer Service, Management, Engineering, or a related discipline (Level 5 or above preferred).
- Trade or engineering qualification.
Desirable
- Membership of a professional body such as IWFM, RICS, or a relevant engineering institution.
- Health & Safety qualification.
- Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodology experience.
