Macgregor Black are partnering with a well-established toy brand on the search for an Account Manager, to drive marketplace strategy, manage UK and overseas accounts and develop new business. Toy industry experience is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Marketplace Strategy
- Design and execute robust digital marketplace and retail channel strategies for domestic and cross-border platforms.
- Optimise product listings, pricing structures and promotional campaigns across multiple online and traditional sales channels.

Account Management (UK and Overseas)
- Own and nurture end-to-end commercial relationships with existing key retail partners and international distributors.
- Conduct regular business reviews, seasonal sell-ins and joint business planning to maximise sell-through and brand footprint.
Business Development
- Proactively hunt for new sales channels, accounts and target global markets to expand the company’s distribution reach.
- Attend major international and domestic trade shows to network, pitch portfolios and convert prospects into lasting partnerships.

What We're Looking For
Toy Industry Experience
- Essential hands-on background within the toy, game or closely related children’s entertainment/consumer goods sector.
Experience & Skills
- Proven track record (3+ years) in national or international account management and business development.
- Strong understanding of multi-channel retail and online marketplaces (Amazon, major international toy groups, independents).
- Exceptional negotiation, communication and commercial analysis skills (proficient in Excel and CRM tools).
