Overview
Join Gallagher Specialty’s Aviation Division and help support insurance programmes for international airline and aircraft leasing clients. Working with clients operating across a truly global industry, you’ll be part of a team that helps businesses navigate complex risks while building long-term relationships across the aviation market.
This role offers the chance to develop your technical insurance knowledge while working closely with brokers, insurers, and clients in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. You’ll gain exposure to specialist aviation risks, learn from experienced colleagues, and build the skills needed for a long-term career within Gallagher Specialty.

How you'll make an impact
In this role, you’ll support the day-to-day management of insurance programmes for airline and aircraft leasing clients, helping to ensure they receive timely, accurate and consistent service. You'll work alongside Brokers, Account Executives and Senior Account Managers to prepare documentation, coordinate renewals, support placement activities and maintain accurate client records across a range of internal systems.
You'll play an important part in keeping programmes running smoothly by producing reports and calculations, supporting contractual insurance requirements, and helping respond to client, insurer, and accounting queries. As your experience grows, you'll deepen your understanding of the specialist aviation insurance market while contributing to a collaborative team that values knowledge sharing and professional development.
Key areas of focus include:
- Supporting new business, renewal, and ongoing client servicing activities.
- Preparing insurance documentation, endorsements, and evidence of cover.
- Managing client records and documentation across internal systems.
- Producing data, schedules and calculations using Microsoft Excel.
- Building effective working relationships with clients, insurers, and colleagues.
About You
- Experience working within insurance, financial services, or another client-focused environment.
- An interest in aviation insurance or specialty risks and a desire to develop specialist knowledge.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting agreed deadlines.
- Experience working with data, reports, or calculations with a high level of accuracy.
- The ability to organise information and maintain detailed records.
- Confidence communicating with clients, insurers, and colleagues through written and verbal interactions.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel.
- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while managing your own workload.
- A commitment to learning, professional development and building a long-term career within the insurance industry.
