Job Description
This high-end European office furniture manufacturer with a rich history spanning over two centuries, is dedicated to designing forward-thinking, innovative, and sustainable working environments. They are seeking a highly motivated Account Manager to drive substantial growth within a key sector of the commercial furniture market. This role focuses on cultivating and strengthening relationships with strategically targeted clients to boost business development and profitability.
The Account Manager will act as a proactive liaison between the client and relevant internal departments, ensuring seamless support and fostering sales growth. Collaboration within a dynamic and successful team environment is crucial. The successful candidate will possess the ability to collaborate effectively with sales leads, building strong relationships quickly. Excellent presentation skills and a team-oriented approach are essential, along with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely while working effectively within diverse teams. A strong commercial understanding of how to develop sales through solid relationships is vital, as is existing knowledge of quote preparation and design packages for rendering. The position is based in their design-led showroom in Clerkenwell. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to make a significant impact and potentially advance into a main sales role in the future.

Requirements
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with key targeted clients to drive business growth and profitability, working in conjunction with the sales lead.
- Serve as a proactive and essential link between clients and relevant departments within the company, facilitating support and fostering sales growth.
- Collaborate effectively within a dynamic and successful team environment, contributing to a positive and productive atmosphere.
- Operate from their design-led showroom in Clerkenwell, contributing to a hub of creativity and innovation.
- Build relationships quickly and effectively, partnering with sales leads to establish and nurture client connections, fostering trust and reliability.
- Possess excellent presentation skills and a team-oriented mindset, adeptly conveying complex ideas and concepts while seamlessly integrating within diverse teams.
- Demonstrate commercial awareness and understand how to leverage strong client relationships to drive sales growth and maximize profitability.
- Exhibit existing knowledge of quote preparation and design packages for rendering, enabling the delivery of comprehensive and compelling solutions.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing client accounts, expanding the company's market presence and revenue streams.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the company's product offerings, staying abreast of industry trends and competitor activities.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients, showcasing the value proposition of the company's products and services.
- Effectively manage and resolve client inquiries and issues, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
