ACCOUNT MANAGER – NORTHERN UK

Field-Based | Northern UK | Company Car | Uncapped Commission

Are you a driven sales professional who loves winning new business, building relationships and being out on the road with customers?

We’re looking for an Account Manager to join our Mascus team at Ritchie Bros., taking ownership of a territory across the Northern part of the UK.

This is a role for someone who enjoys the buzz of sales, is comfortable picking up the phone, and thrives on building a strong pipeline and turning opportunities into results.

What you’ll be doing

  • Generate new business through high-volume outbound prospecting
  • Build and develop long-term customer relationships
  • Get out in the field and meet customers face-to-face
  • Grow equipment listings and sales opportunities across your territory
  • Manage your pipeline and activity through CRM
  • Hit targets and drive territory growth
  • Represent Mascus at trade shows and industry events

What we’re looking for

You’re commercially driven, resilient and motivated by results. You understand that consistent activity creates consistent results, but you also know that great sales are built on strong relationships.

You’ll ideally have:

  • 4+ years’ experience in Account Management, Business Development, Inside Sales or a similar sales role
  • A proven ability to prospect and generate new business
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confidence making outbound calls and working at pace
  • Experience using CRM systems
  • A self-motivated, target-driven approach
  • A full UK driving licence

Experience in Construction, Automotive, Transport, Machinery, Recruitment, Media, Telecoms or SaaS would be an advantage - but it’s not essential.

And if you have an interest or background in heavy machinery, even better!
