Are you an experienced Account Manager who thrives on client relationships, keeping projects moving and making things happen?

We’re working with a highly regarded, award-winning B2B marketing agency that specialises in food, beverage and hospitality. With an established client portfolio and a growing team, they’re looking for an Account Manager to join their Client Services team and take ownership of a portfolio of exciting, well-known brands.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced AM, or someone already operating close to Senior Account Manager level, who wants genuine responsibility, variety and the opportunity to develop their career.

The Opportunity

You’ll be at the heart of the client relationship, acting as the key day-to-day contact, understanding what clients need and bringing together the right people internally to deliver it.

The work is varied, spanning integrated marketing campaigns, events, creative collateral, sales enablement and strategic projects. You won't be expected to develop go-to-market strategies yourself, but you will need the confidence and experience to take a brief, shape the response with internal teams and make sure the resulting work is delivered brilliantly.

You'll have real ownership of your accounts, projects and client relationships, while working closely with senior team members on account development and growth.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing a portfolio of established client accounts and building strong, trusted relationships.
  • Acting as the primary day-to-day client contact, confidently handling queries, feedback and challenges.
  • Taking briefs and working with strategy, creative, production and other internal specialists to develop effective solutions.
  • Managing projects from brief through to delivery, reporting and evaluation.
  • Keeping scopes, timelines, resources and budgets under control.
  • Tracking financial performance, forecasting and supporting invoicing.
  • Leading client meetings, setting agendas and ensuring actions are followed through.
  • Producing clear status reports and performance updates.
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to add value and grow existing accounts.
  • Supporting pitches and new business activity when required.
  • Anticipating problems and finding solutions before they become issues.
  • Supporting and mentoring Account Executives within the team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What we're looking for:

We're interested in people who are good with clients, good with people and good at getting things done.

You'll ideally have experience within an agency environment, although strong marketing or client-facing experience outside of an agency will also be considered.

You'll probably be:

  • An experienced Account Manager.
  • Confident managing client relationships independently.
  • Experienced in coordinating complex marketing projects.
  • Comfortable working across multiple teams and managing competing priorities.
  • Commercially aware, with an understanding of budgets, scope and profitability.
  • Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proactive and solutions-focused rather than someone who waits to be told what to do.
  • Comfortable leading meetings, managing expectations and having challenging conversations when needed.
  • A strong communicator who can build credibility and trust with clients.
  • Collaborative and willing to support more junior members of the team.
  • Resilient, adaptable and positive in a fast-moving agency environment.
