Account Manager
Position Overview
As an Account Manager you’ll be identifying new business and growing customer relationships to drive gross profit and long-term account value. The role focuses on identifying new opportunities, positioning Advania’s portfolio of solutions and services and helping customers achieve their business objectives through technology.

Responsibilities
- Identify, grow and develop net new opportunities for upselling, cross-selling and service expansion.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and develop a deep understanding of customers' business objectives.
- Generate and qualify new opportunities within existing accounts and targeted prospects.
- Manage the sales process from opportunity identification through to proposal, negotiation, and successful onboarding.
- Position Advania's portfolio of solutions and services, including Managed Services, Cloud, Microsoft, Security, Infrastructure, and Workplace solutions.
- Work closely with pre-sales specialists and solution architects to create compelling customer proposals.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, CRM records, forecasts, and customer account plans.
- Stay informed on market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activity to provide trusted customer advice.
- Consistently achieve revenue, gross profit, and customer retention objectives.

What Success Looks Like
- Building an active and qualified sales pipeline
- Generating new customer opportunities and meeting
- Developing a clear understanding into Advania’s VAR offerings
- Attend Advania Offices or customers sites 3 days a week
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, specialists and operations
- Manage customer requirements efficiently
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven success in strategic B2B IT sales within a VAR, MSP or a systems integrator
- Strong understand of Advania’s data centre, network, cyber security, modern workplace, end user compute, audio visual offerings etcs
- Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Ability to identify customer challenges and align technology solutions to business outcomes.
- Self-motivated, commercially driven, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Experience managing sales pipelines, forecasting accurately and achieving or exceeding gross profit targets.
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively alongside solution specialists, pre-sales and operations.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms and sales reporting tools.
- Flexibility to travel across the UK is essential to support executive customer relationships, strategic sales opportunities, partner engagement, and wider business growth initiatives
