Summary – Basic Function Of The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join Enerpac on a remote basis, with responsibility for developing our business across South and Central England.
This is a commercially focused role for someone who enjoys building relationships, developing new business and turning opportunities into results. You’ll take ownership of your territory, working with both distributors and end users to strengthen existing partnerships, open new customer relationships and grow Enerpac’s presence across key industrial markets.
A key focus will be developing sales across our bolting portfolio, including torque and tensioning solutions, alongside opportunities across the wider Enerpac industrial tool portfolio. While an understanding of technical and industrial applications is important, this is fundamentally a sales and business development role, with success measured through sales performance, opportunity conversion, pipeline development, forecasting accuracy and new customer growth.
The position is home-based within the territory, with regular travel to customers and distributors. We’re particularly interested in candidates based within Central or South England, with good access to the M25, Midlands and wider southern region.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Take commercial ownership of the designated South and Central England territory, delivering agreed sales growth and business objectives.
- Develop new customers and identify opportunities to expand Enerpac's presence across key industrial markets.
- Grow sales of Enerpac's bolting portfolio, including torque and tensioning solutions, through both distribution partners and direct engagement with end users.
- Build, develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, customers and key decision-makers across the territory.
- Develop existing distribution channels while identifying opportunities to strengthen market coverage and reach new customers.
- Prospect for new business, qualify opportunities and convert them into sustainable and profitable sales.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline with clear actions, priorities and next steps.
- Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and actively participate in regular commercial and pipeline reviews.
- Prepare and manage customer quotations, negotiate commercial terms and proactively follow opportunities through to order.
- Develop territory and account plans that identify growth opportunities, target customers and actions required to deliver results.
- Work closely with Customer Service, Application Engineering, Application Specialists and other internal teams to develop appropriate solutions for customers.
- Promote Enerpac's wider product and service portfolio and identify opportunities to cross-sell solutions based on customer needs.
- Deliver customer presentations, product demonstrations, training sessions and other commercial activities where appropriate.
- Monitor market activity, competitor developments and customer trends, sharing relevant insights with Commercial and Marketing teams.
- Maintain accurate customer, account, activity, pipeline and opportunity information within Salesforce.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the UK and wider region to support commercial strategies and share opportunities and market knowledge.
- Represent Enerpac professionally with customers, distributors and industry partners.
- Follow company policies, commercial approval processes and HSSEQ requirements, ensuring safety remains a priority in all activities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
