Your purpose is to manage projects and support client relationships to ensure accounts run smoothly and remain profitable.

As part of the Client Team, the Account Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of projects. Working in a highly collaborative environment alongside Client Team colleagues and Project Management/Client Operations, they ensure projects are delivered successfully while supporting strong client partnerships.

While expected to work with a high degree of individual accountability, the Account Manager will also be supported in their learning and development by their team. They are expected to coach and share knowledge with colleagues across the Client Team and wider agency, helping to build capability and maintain high standards.

Knowledge and skills:

  • Previous experience working within a healthcare communications/marketing agency, with a proven track record of successfully managing client accounts and/or projects essential.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare market, with experience working across multiple client accounts.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and nurture strong client relationships, establish effective agency–client partnerships, and confidently manage or appropriately escalate complex client requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style to different audiences to achieve the best outcomes, alongside the confidence to contribute to and facilitate client workshops.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to client challenges, identify and mitigate account risks, escalate issues when required, and perform effectively under pressure.
