About the Company

Our client is a large UK mobility services organisation seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to manage a defined portfolio of strategic dealer groups.

About the Role

The role is responsible for improving account performance against key measures, strengthening relationships with senior operational stakeholders and ensuring organisational priorities and service standards are consistently implemented.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a defined portfolio of strategic and key dealer groups.
  • Deliver measurable improvement against scorecard KPIs, operational standards and long-term service sustainability measures.
  • Build strong, performance-focused relationships with senior operational leaders across dealer groups.
  • Ensure organisational priorities are clearly understood and consistently implemented by dealer partners.
  • Reduce variations in KPI performance across the portfolio through structured action planning and performance management.
  • Ensure agreed quarterly priorities are delivered effectively and at pace.
  • Apply the established escalation framework where dealer performance falls below expectations.
  • Work with the Strategic Account Manager to support the turnaround of higher-risk accounts.
  • Maintain a structured visit schedule based on dealer size, performance and risk.
  • Ensure consistent engagement with stakeholders at dealer group and individual franchise level.
  • Collaborate with Network Account Managers to coordinate regional delivery and maintain clear responsibilities between strategic account management and transactional support.
  • Identify recurring or systemic barriers affecting performance and escalate them for appropriate cross-functional resolution.
  • Ensure dealer partners remain aligned with customer experience standards while maintaining appropriate focus on cost control and asset protection.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
