Role Purpose
To strategically manage and grow a portfolio of customers by delivering Clarity’s value proposition, driving customer retention, profitability and growth through the development and execution of travel and meetings programmes, stakeholder engagement, and the achievement of agreed business objectives.
Operational- Key Tasks
- Develop and deliver business plans aligned to customer objectives and business goals.
- Own customer retention, growth, profitability and overall account performance.
- Create, implement and monitor strategic initiatives focused on savings, sustainability, traveller wellbeing and programme optimisation.
- Lead business planning, governance and Customer Partnership Reviews (CPRs).
- Oversee delivery of SLAs, KPIs and service performance, implementing corrective actions where required.
- Manage the supplier strategy and support travel and meeting programme sourcing and negotiations.
- Lead data and reporting strategy, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Coordinate operational teams, partners and senior stakeholders to ensure consistent service delivery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer decision-makers and influencers.
- Drive solution development and continuous improvement to maximise customer value and satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with information security, data protection and company policies

Skills And Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in account management, preferably within the business travel and meetings industry.
- Proven ability to manage strategic customer relationships and deliver retention, growth and profitability targets.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience analysing data and translating insights into customer recommendations and business plans.
- Experience leading practice cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Understanding of travel and meetings programme management, supplier strategy, service delivery and customer governance frameworks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM systems and diary management
- Full driving licence and the ability to travel for work purposes
- Self-motivated, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
