The Position
As an Account Manager, your role will be focused on regional accounts who are using Seequent software for geological modelling, analysis, visualization, and decision making. We are continuing to experience rapid growth in recent years and there are now a significant number of sizeable accounts in the region. Seequent’s portfolio of products is also growing, through development and acquisition. To realise the growth in existing accounts the business requires dedicated commercial / account management focus.
The goal of this role is to enable the region to meet its strategic objective of sustainable, long-term sales growth. You will be working closely with the Manager, Account Management to define a strategy in the accounts with the aim to further ingrain our solutions and uncover and progress other opportunities. Day to day you are guiding the sale of software seats, training, and engaging with internal technical experts and advisors to maximise an account’s potential.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Pre-Sales Technical Support
Demonstrate solutions by matching customers' unique needs with appropriate products, services, and workflows.
Conduct product demos and webinars while providing pre-sale technical guidance and supporting product trials. -
Marketing and Business Goals
Track customer needs and competitor movements, delivering actionable market intelligence to sales and product teams.
Faciliate product launches and upgrades, driving user adoption and elevating overall customer satisfaction.

Product, Domain, and Market Knowledge
Maintain expert product capability backed by a solid understanding of the Ground Investigation industry.
Test emerging features and capture customer insights, feeding critical usage feedback directly into product development. -
Technical Support and Expert Services
Deliver implementation, coaching, and training to facilitate successful adoption and third-party software integrations.
Resolve complex technical issues and advocate for customers by communicating recurring patterns to development teams.
Bridge user communities and software developers to define problem scopes, functional requirements, and technical specifications.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 5+ years sales experience (Software and/or Geosciences).
- Demonstrated capability with enterprise sales and solution selling.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, decision making, and prioritization skills.
- Strategic account management and negotiation – Develop and execute account plans, build relationships with key stakeholders, and drive growth across assigned accounts.
- Proactive approach – identifying ways to improve processes, take opportunities to learn when presented.
