Responsibilities
Key Account Management
- Grow key accounts through strategic planning and stakeholder alignment
- Drive high on-site activity levels across all groups, identifying opportunities with all of Keysight's portfolio.
- Understand the customer's customer, and know their projects and business intimately.
- Forecast over a 3-5 year window by strategically aligning with the accounts.
Drive Sales Growth
- Identify new sales opportunities through proactive outbound and inbound activities such as calls, emails, and lead follow-ups.
- Grow business from both new and existing customers through up-selling and cross-selling.
- Identify emerging companies through monitoring industry trends and understanding projects being awarded from MoD spend.
Manage the Full Sales Cycle
- Support and coordinate the entire sales cycle, from pre-sales discussions, complex quoting, demo organization, closing business, and organizing post sales support.
- Assist in preparing commercial offers, tender responses, quotes, and order bookings.
- Maintain accurate customer and sales data within CRM/customer databases.

- Interpret customer needs and develop long-lasting partnerships by providing strong product knowledge and tailored recommendations.
- Answer customer queries, provide product/service information, and resolve concerns via phone and email communication.
Product & Technical Engagement
- Explain, demonstrate, and discuss technical functions and features of Keysight’s solutions, often involving complex and scientific instrumentation (e.g. Oscilloscopes, Spectrum analysers, Network Analysers, RF Generators).
- Stay up-to-date with product information, competitive offerings, and industry developments.
Qualifications
Education
- Degree in Engineering (e.g. Electrical, Electronic, Communications, Physics or similar).
- Equivalent technical qualification/experience
Experience & Skills
- Strong interest in technology, technical sales, and customer engagement
- Ability to quickly learn and explain complex technical products and solutions
- Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
- Previous experience in sales, customer-facing roles, or technical support
- Key Account management experience
