Role Description

Symphony is seeking an experienced, high-performing Account Manager to manage, retain, and expand relationships with key enterprise accounts across global financial institutions. In this role, you will be the trusted advisor to major buy-side, sell-side, and FinTech clients, driving account health, unlocking cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and ensuring long-term platform adoption.

The ideal candidate brings strong commercial acumen, a track record of exceeding quotas within enterprise SaaS or financial tech, and the authority to engage C-suite stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Expansion & Commercial Growth

    • Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing enterprise accounts to grow total contract value.
    • Expand Symphony’s footprint across target business units, desks, and user bases within Tier-1 financial institutions.
    • Maintain accurate pipeline hygiene, align account metrics with sales leadership, and forecast quarterly expansion and renewal targets.
  • Relationship Management & Client Retention

    • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with senior executives, line-of-business heads, and key decision-makers.
    • Conduct regular Executive Business Reviews (EBRs) to demonstrate ongoing platform ROI, align on business objectives, and mitigate churn risk.
    • Act as the voice of the customer internally, relaying feedback and market requirements to Product, Support, and Executive teams.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
