Position Summary
The Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by maintaining and developing relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting our portfolio of cosmetics ingredients within Europe. He/She manages sales and development of its market with great autonomy.

- Ability to generate, qualify, and prospect new Personal Care opportunities with Chemists, Product Development, Procurement, and Marketing
- Develop sales to new and existing customers with a constantly expanding product portfolio
- Manage Sales CRM pipeline proactively, recognizing customers' stage in the decision cycle and setting action to the next step
- Call/present/travel to direct end users, contract manufacturers, and formulary labs
- Schedule phone calls, webinar presentations, and video conferencing with prospects and customers
- Communicate and build customer relationships with contract manufacturers, finished brands, and key domestic manufacturers to drive Personal Care ingredient
- Ability to cross-sell customers with greater potential into larger sales
- Prospect via internet leads, cold-calling, networking events, tradeshows, SCC events/seminars, etc.
- Identify technical needs of R&D and creativity of marketing
- Strategic negotiation with procurement & supply chain departments
- Understand territory situation, current accounts, prospects, competitors, and suppliers
- Work with Product Managers/Sales Reps/Customers/Operations/ on any technical information we need to gather
- Understand customer objectives, needs, and profitability drivers
- Keep up-to-date and informed on market, industry, and regulatory issues
- Participation and planning of Personal Care tradeshows

Required Experience & Knowledge
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in sales or account management in the cosmetics ingredients industry
Specific Knowledge, Skills, Licenses, Certifications, etc.
- Strong understanding of the European cosmetics market and regulatory environment
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive and hunger to succeed
- Creative individual with a passion to build company image
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Experience with CRM systems and sales forecasting tools
- Fluency in English, with proficiency in one or more European languages preferred
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
