Healthcare Guardian is a dynamic, forward-thinking solution on a mission to transform healthcare. We deliver best-in-class software that helps NHS and healthcare organisations improve patient outcomes, reduce risk, and drive operational excellence. We're looking for a strategic and commercially minded Account Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of healthcare customers, building trusted partnerships and helping clients maximise the value of their Ideagen solutions.
In this high-impact role, you'll develop long-term account strategies, drive revenue growth through expansion opportunities, and work closely with senior stakeholders to support their evolving business goals. If you thrive on building relationships, influencing strategic conversations, and delivering measurable customer value, this is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of healthcare technology.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for a portfolio of healthcare customers, aligning solutions to their long-term business objectives.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring customers realise maximum value from their investment.
- Identify and drive upsell, cross-sell and expansion opportunities to achieve revenue growth and retention targets.
- Manage the renewal process end-to-end, including commercial discussions, contract negotiations and renewal forecasting.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular account updates, forecasts and performance insights.
- Collaborate with Customer Success, Product, Support and other internal teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Proactively identify customer challenges and provide tailored solutions that support business outcomes and customer success.

Skills and Experience
- Proven experience managing and growing strategic customer accounts within a SaaS or software environment.
- Experience working with healthcare organisations, ideally within the NHS, private healthcare or life sciences sectors.
- Demonstrated success in driving account growth through upselling, cross-selling and value-based selling approaches.
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills, with experience managing renewals and commercial agreements.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior decision-makers.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data and insights to support forecasting, account planning and business decisions.
- Proficiency in CRM and sales engagement platforms such as Salesforce, Outreach or similar tools.
- Highly organised, proactive and collaborative, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
