Account Manager
Location: Hammersmith, London
Job Type: Full time
Salary: £35k - £45k per annum, dependent on experience + uncapped commission

At DTB Sports Hospitality and Event Management, we sell some of the biggest events in the world. Think Wimbledon, Formula 1, the BRIT Awards and major concerts. As an Account Manager, you’ll be joining a fast paced, energetic team that connects businesses with unmissable live experiences.
As an Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing and growing an established portfolio of corporate clients, while continuing to develop new business opportunities.
We’re looking for an experienced salesperson who can hit the ground running. Ideally, you’ll bring an existing book of corporate business and established relationships that you can begin developing from day one, alongside the accounts and opportunities available through DTB.
We are a relationship driven business, so we are looking for someone who understands the importance of getting to know their clients, identifying opportunities and providing an excellent level of service. You’ll be expected to take ownership of your accounts, achieve agreed sales targets and build long-term relationships with senior decision-makers.

*Previous experience within corporate hospitality, events, sport or a related industry is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Account Management
- Manage and develop an established portfolio of corporate clients.
- Develop opportunities from your own existing network and book of business.
- Build strong relationships with key contacts and senior-level decision-makers.
- Proactively identify new opportunities across existing and prospective accounts.
- Arrange regular client meetings and maintain consistent communication.
- Drive repeat business, rebooking's, upselling and cross-selling across DTB’s event portfolio.
- Provide a high level of customer service throughout the sales and booking process.
Sales Performance & Target Achievement
- Achieve agreed monthly and annual sales and profit targets.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of current and future opportunities.
- Proactively support the sale of DTB’s key event inventory.
- Accurately manage opportunities, client information and sales activity within our CRM, HubSpot.
- Take ownership of follow ups, forecasting and the conversion of opportunities.

Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with the Head of Sales, Directors and wider sales team.
- Support and mentor more junior members of the team.
- Lead by example in client service, sales activity and account management.
Candidate Profile
Skills & Attributes Required
- Proven experience in B2B sales or account management.
- An established network and book of corporate business, with the ability to generate opportunities from existing relationships.
- Corporate hospitality, events, sport or related industry experience preferred.
- A track record of building, managing and growing high-value client relationships.
- Confident communicating with senior-level decision-makers.
- An expeditious communicator, both written and verbal, with a strong focus on speed and quality of response.
- Strong relationship-building and commercial skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven and proactive.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- A positive, resilient and team-focused attitude.
*Required to work in-office 5 days a week
