About Grayling UK

Corporate affairs, consumer brand communications and excellence in channel strategy, be it TikTok or The Times, are the cornerstones of our business. Earned, owned or paid: we’re media obsessed. We create advantage for brands, businesses and organisations by combining our sector-leading insights with ‘creativity that connects’.

Our people are in equal parts exceptional professionals and wonderful human beings. A culture grounded in trust, transparency, ambition and care, where talented people are empowered to do exceptional, award-winning work for clients, while building meaningful careers.

Your growth is our priority because when you thrive, so do we. So if you’re looking for your next move and are passionate about PR and communications, you’ve come to the right place!

About The Role

We’re looking for an Account Manager to join our PR team in Scotland, working across a varied portfolio of clients and sectors. You’ll play a key role in the day-to-day management of client accounts, building trusted relationships and delivering creative, insight-led communications that make an impact.

As an Account Manager, you’ll be confident managing clients and campaigns, with strong media relations and writing skills and the ability to keep multiple projects moving at once. You’ll have previous B2B experience and be comfortable working with research and data, spotting the insights and stories that matter and using them to shape compelling communications and campaigns.

We’re looking for someone who is naturally curious about the world around them, from politics and current affairs to business and the issues affecting our clients and their audiences. You’ll be someone who asks the right questions, sees the bigger picture and can turn complex information into clear, engaging communications.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
