Salary: £35,000 - £37,000 per annum
Hybrid Working: 2 days in West London office, 3 days from home
A boutique B2B PR and communications agency is looking for a Junior Account Manager/ Account Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The agency works with an interesting mix of clients across marketing, technology and professional services, and is evolving its offer to provide more strategic, business-focused support alongside traditional media relations. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to develop beyond day-to-day press office work.
Responsibilities:
- Client relationship management on a day-to-day basis, working across a portfolio of B2B clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant trade, sector and national media
- Spot proactive media opportunities, newsjacking angles and creative narratives that support client business needs
- Develop and pitch targeted sell-ins with confidence and persistence
- Support delivery of PR and communications plans, ensuring deadlines are met and clients are kept updated
- Contribute to client calls and meetings, building confidence as a day-to-day contact
- Develop a strong understanding of each client's business, market and commercial pressures
- Support new business activity, including research, credentials and pitch support
- Help guide junior colleagues, particularly around media relations skills and opportunity spotting

Your experience:
- At least three years in a PR, communications or integrated agency environment
- At least one year operating at Senior Account Executive level or higher in a B2B PR or communications agency
- Strong media relations skills and a track record of securing quality coverage
- Confident working directly with senior client stakeholders
- Strong news sense and commercial curiosity about clients' businesses
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Well organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Desirable:
- Experience with clients in marketing, technology, digital or professional services sectors
- Exposure to digital PR, data-led campaigns or integrated communications
