National Account Manager – Foodservice

London / South East – remote with customer travel
£40,000–£50,000 + car allowance + bonus + benefits

I’m working with an independently owned healthier snacking business to recruit a National Account Manager focused on Foodservice.

The business has built a genuinely interesting proposition in the crisp category. Their core product uses a patented process that allows for a 50% less fat claim, sitting in a strong space across HFSS compliance, cleaner ingredients and healthier snacking. They already have traction across education, healthcare, foodservice and retail, with the biggest focus for this role being the next stage of foodservice growth. The business has its own UK factory, giving it more control over production, supply and margin. Sales were around £1.8m last year, with this year’s budget around £3m, and they’re currently ahead of that number.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of existing foodservice accounts and help grow the channel
  • Build relationships with key customers across education, healthcare and foodservice
  • Help unlock opportunities with Bidfood and other major wholesale partners
  • Develop conversations with customers such as Compass, Sodexo, Aramark and ISS
  • Support new product growth, including vegetable crisps and foodservice formats
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to make sure customer plans are delivered properly
  • Spend time with customers, understand the channel and spot new opportunities
  • Help build structure and momentum in a growing business

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What we’re looking for:

  • FMCG / foodservice account management experience
  • Snack experience would be useful, but isn’t essential
  • Strong relationship builder who is comfortable getting out with customers
  • Proactive, independent and happy working in a business where things move quickly
  • Commercially switched on and able to manage existing accounts while opening new doors
  • Comfortable with travel and being close to customers
  • Ideally commutable to London

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to join a growing challenger brand with a clear point of difference. The role has a proper growth path and would suit someone who wants to grow with the business rather than hit a ceiling quickly.
