Account Manager (B2B)
£45,000 - £50,000 | Dartford, Kent (Hybrid)
My client, a fast-growing and well-established business, is looking for an experienced and commercially driven Account Manager to join their expanding B2B team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on building long-term partnerships, identifying new opportunities and delivering an exceptional customer experience across a diverse portfolio of key accounts.
The successful candidate will manage strategic B2B relationships across social housing, housebuilding, build-to-rent and insurance, working closely with customers and internal teams to drive account growth, improve performance and maximise commercial opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of a portfolio of key B2B accounts, building strong relationships from operational contacts through to senior decision-makers
- Develop and grow existing accounts by identifying opportunities across new properties, regions, products and services
- Create and manage account plans, forecasts and pipelines, leading regular account reviews with customers
- Monitor SLA performance and reporting, working closely with internal teams to resolve issues quickly and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Lead key client relationships and SLA reporting across insurance partners
- Identify opportunities to increase share of wallet and ensure the business is considered for all relevant requirements
- Monitor account profitability, protect margin and report on revenue, growth, gross margin and retention

- Proven experience in Key Account Management within a B2B environment
- Strong commercial awareness, with confidence managing forecasts, margins, targets and SLAs
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels
- A proactive and commercially focused approach, with a proven ability to identify and develop new opportunities within existing accounts
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple accounts, priorities and deadlines effectively
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK
