Account Manager – Electronics Manufacturing
Up to £50,000 basic salary
Select Talent is delighted to be supporting a leading electronics manufacturing business with the appointment of an Account Manager.
We are looking for someone with strong, client-facing account management experience, ideally supporting customers within aerospace, defence, high-end industrial, medical or similarly demanding manufacturing sectors.
The business provides electronics manufacturing and supply chain solutions, working closely with customers on complex products and programmes where quality, reliability and service are critical.
The Role
You will take ownership of a portfolio of existing customers, building strong relationships, understanding their priorities and ensuring the business delivers against its commitments.
This is a visible, customer-facing position requiring someone who enjoys spending time with clients, asking the right questions and taking accountability. You will lead customer discussions, coordinate internal teams and identify opportunities to develop each account.
Working across engineering, procurement, production and sales, you will ensure customer requirements are understood and projects progress smoothly. Alongside service delivery, you will hold commercial responsibility for account growth, pricing discussions and contract renewals.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
