Company Description

Today, Assystem is among the top three independent nuclear engineering firms worldwide. With over 60 years of experience in highly regulated sectors, the group supports public and industrial stakeholders in the execution of complex and strategic infrastructure projects, subject to high safety and security requirements.

Assystem mobilizes 8,000 experts in 13 countries and intervenes across the entire project lifecycle, in engineering, project management and digital solutions.

Job Description

Your Future Team

Reporting to the Sales Director for Project Management & Consultancy, you join the Energy, Transport & Infrastructure sales team and work closely with the PM&C Business Unit Director and operational leadership. The PM&C Business Unit provides project management and consultancy services across major infrastructure and energy programmes.

The role is based from an Assystem office, preferably London or within daily commuting distance, with regular travel to other Assystem offices, client locations and industry events.

Your Responsibilities

You lead the development of new and existing client accounts across the energy, transport, water, utilities and infrastructure markets. Your focus includes National Grid, energy distributors, Network Rail, National Highways, public sector organisations, Tier 1 contractors and consultancies.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Developing and managing strategic account plans for prospective and existing clients across multiple sectors and service lines.
  • Creating and delivering a market coverage plan that strengthens Assystem’s visibility at key industry events and positions our leaders and subject matter experts in the marketplace.
  • Building senior client relationships, using your industry network to identify opportunities and develop new accounts.
  • Proactively generating and progressing sales opportunities through networking, targeted prospecting and direct client engagement.
  • Gathering and sharing market and client intelligence, maintaining accurate CRM information, visit plans, visit reports and monthly sales reporting.
  • Developing early opportunity and win strategies, securing Assystem’s position on approved bid lists and preparing the business ahead of formal tender activity.
  • Supporting and leading bids and proposals, working closely with bid teams, operational leaders and subject matter experts to develop compelling client solutions.
  • Aligning account and business development plans with operational capability and capacity, while working with Procurement, Marketing and Communications to develop delivery partnerships and support sustainable growth.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
