Intelligence. Insight. Integrity. And now, a bigger team.

HERA Communication Strategies is a London-based consultancy working in corporate and financial communications and research, with specialisms in real estate, housebuilding, insurance and legal. Our clients include lenders, housebuilders, insurers, law firms and sector bodies, and we work at the point where commercial reality meets public policy.

Recent client wins mean we're looking for an Account Manager to take genuine ownership of accounts — with the autonomy that comes from working in a small, senior team rather than a layer of a large one.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What you'll actually be doing

  • Running client accounts day to day: you'll be the person they call
  • Turning client objectives into media strategies that stand up commercially
  • Writing and placing thought leadership, comment and reactive commentary
  • Building relationships with property, financial and national business journalists
  • Advising clients confidently — including when the answer is "I wouldn't"
  • Managing and mentoring junior colleagues
  • Contributing to new business: proposals, pitches, and spotting the opportunity in conversation

What we're looking for

  • Around 3+ years in PR or communications, ideally with corporate, financial, property or B2B experience
  • A strong media contact book, or the confidence to build one quickly
  • Sharp writing and the judgement to know what a journalist will actually run
  • Commercial awareness — you understand our clients' businesses, not just their press releases
  • Someone who wants scope and ownership, not a rung on a very tall ladder
