About the role
Scene2 is looking for an organised and hands-on Account Manager to join our team. This is much more than a traditional desk-based account management role. You’ll take ownership of projects from the initial client enquiry and quotation through production, delivery and installation, right through to debrief and storage where required.
You’ll be the key link between our clients, production team, suppliers and subcontractors, making sure projects are commercially sound, well planned and delivered to a high standard, on time and within budget.
What you’ll be doing
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Responding to enquiries, preparing proposals, quotations and project costings, and following opportunities through to confirmed sales.
- Building strong relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities for repeat and new business.
- Leading project briefings and coordinating projects with our production team from PO through to completion.
- Developing and maintaining project schedules, workflows and budget trackers.
- Coordinating suppliers, materials, specialist components and subcontractors.
- Keeping clients informed with clear project updates, timelines and work-in-progress information.
- Monitoring production, quality, costs and deadlines and resolving issues proactively.
- Supporting and overseeing installations and de-rigs where required.
- Managing project administration and working closely with Finance to keep costs and documentation accurate and up to date.
- Conducting client and internal project debriefs and identifying opportunities to improve how we work.
- Ensuring projects meet our quality, Health & Safety and sustainability standards.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
