The opportunity you've been waiting for

At EssenceMediacom, the Account Manager owns every stage.

This is a media agency built on data and technology, with analytics and insight behind every recommendation. Its clients are major brands who expect clear advice, and expect it quickly.

You'll be the person they turn to. You'll lead a team, work alongside the Account Director and planning team, and turn complex media thinking into advice a client can act on. Ready for more say in the work?

How you'll make your mark

You'll run integrated communications campaigns from first brief to final results. Here's what that looks like.

What you'll own

  • Lead campaign delivery end to end: the brief, the response, live monitoring and results reporting.
  • Develop buying strategies and oversee all buying so client budgets deliver best value.
  • Translate complex media plans into clear, confident advice for clients.
  • Keep clients and senior management informed with regular campaign updates.
  • Set priorities for the team as well as yourself, and manage the output of internal and external resource.
  • Build productive relationships with partner agencies, including creative and PR.
  • Challenge planning where the thinking could be sharper, and show how emerging trends will change the plan.
  • Push for work that wins awards and breaks new ground.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

A Bit More About EssenceMediacom

EssenceMediacom calls itself a new breed of media agency. Analytics and insight are the foundation. Data and technology are the engine.

The belief is simple. Media and creative, working together, drive breakthroughs for brands. The agency is built for people and algorithms, built to test and learn at scale, and built to evolve.

The culture rests on three ideas: be extraordinary, create an open environment and lead optimistically. Trust, growth and collective leadership sit underneath all three.

EssenceMediacom is an equal opportunity employer, committed to a culture of respect where everyone belongs and everyone has the same opportunities to progress.

Denholm's take

What stands out here is the ownership. One person sees the campaign through from brief to results, and that same person leads the team and holds the client relationship.

Add an agency with serious data and technology behind it, and you have a role that turns a strong planner into a rounded client lead.
