Account Manager, Commercial | £50,000 base, £100,000 OTE | Private Sector
Our client is a City of London-based, PE-backed technology consultancy operating at the forefront of AI transformation. They’re one of the UK's leading names and are expanding their Commercial team with an Account Manager to own and grow a portfolio of mid-market and enterprise private sector clients.
The role
This is primarily an account growth seat within “people sales”: helping clients navigate headcount and budget constraints, and delivering tech capability through staff augmentation and statement-of-work engagements. You'll own an existing portfolio, build senior relationships, and expand the accounts you hold. You'll also be expected to bring in new logos, but the main focus is depth over volume: getting embedded, understanding client needs, and growing revenue from within.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
