Account Manager
Birmingham (with travel) | Full-Time
We're seeking an experienced Account Manager to lead the delivery of a complex Total Facilities Management (TFM) contract across a diverse public sector estate.
This is a high-profile operational leadership role with full accountability for service delivery, client relationships, compliance performance, financial management and ongoing mobilisation activities.
Managing a contract valued at approximately £4m per annum, you will be responsible for leading a team of around 40 colleagues across a multi-site portfolio of approximately 40 locations, ensuring safe, compliant and customer-focused service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the operational delivery of a multi-site TFM contract.
- Maintain and develop strong client relationships through regular engagement and performance reviews.
- Take ownership of contract performance, compliance and service excellence.
- Manage a team of direct reports and wider operational workforce.
- Hold full P&L responsibility, ensuring contractual and financial targets are achieved.
- Support the completion of mobilisation activities, particularly around people, assets and compliance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance service delivery.
- Ensure robust governance, reporting and performance management processes are in place.

About You
We're interested in speaking with individuals who can demonstrate:
- Experience managing Facilities Management contracts within a hard FM, TFM or compliance-led environment.
- Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing contract financial performance with P&L accountability.
- Knowledge and practical experience of NEC4 contracts.
- A strong understanding of statutory compliance and operational risk management.
- Experience leading multi-site operations and managing operational teams.
- A data-driven and customer-focused approach to service delivery.

Desirable Experience
- Public sector FM experience, such as Police, NHS, Local Authority, Defence, Justice or Central Government environments.
- Experience supporting or leading mobilisation and transformation activities.
- Technical or engineering background within Facilities Management.
