About Us

DC Byte is the leading provider of market data, research, and intelligence for the global data centre sector. At the heart of an industry that quietly keeps the world connected, our technology-led platform empowers the key players designing and developing digital infrastructure to make high-stakes, multi-billion-dollar investment and strategy decisions.

We deliver the most accurate, real-time, and unbiased insights into colocation and self-build enterprise assets worldwide—supporting developers, investors, and operators, including the world’s largest hyperscalers.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a driven and commercially focused Account Manager to join DC Byte and play a key role in retaining and growing our client base.

You’ll own the commercial relationship across a portfolio of customers, taking responsibility for renewals, account growth, and long-term strategic relationships. Working closely with Customer Success, Sales, Research, and Product, you’ll ensure we understand our customers’ priorities, identify commercial opportunities, and act early where there is risk to retention. If you enjoy building trusted client relationships, uncovering growth opportunities, and taking ownership of commercial outcomes in a recurring-revenue environment, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the commercial relationship across your portfolio, acting as the lead contact for renewals, growth, and strategic account discussions
  • Take responsibility for the whole renewal process, ensuring contracts are renewed on time and addressing commercial or relationship risks early
  • Identify and develop upsell and cross-sell opportunities, including additional users, wider team adoption, new products, and broader use cases
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers, developing a clear understanding of each customer’s priorities, budgets, and strategic objectives
  • Create and execute account plans for key customers, identifying retention risks, growth opportunities, and the actions required to strengthen the relationship
  • Work closely with Customer Success, using insight from platform usage, customer health, satisfaction, and day-to-day interactions to inform commercial strategy
  • Act on qualified commercial opportunities identified by Customer Success and other internal teams, progressing them through to close
  • Lead conversations with customers where there is material renewal risk, dissatisfaction, or a strategically important commercial issue
  • Maintain accurate customer, renewal, and opportunity information in HubSpot, supporting reliable forecasting and effective portfolio management
  • Represent the voice of the customer internally, sharing commercial insight with Product, Research, and other teams to strengthen DC Byte’s proposition and long-term customer relationships

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
