Account Manager

Commercial Finance Broker, Sales, Milton Keynes

My client is a successful and growing commercial finance brokerage based in Milton Keynes, supporting businesses, property investors, and entrepreneurs with tailored funding solutions.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an Account Manager to join their expanding team.

This is a sales-focused role suited to someone who is commercially driven, confident speaking with clients, and motivated by achieving targets and earning strong commission. You’ll be responsible for developing relationships, generating opportunities, and converting enquiries into completed business.

The Role

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling commercial finance solutions, developing new business, and managing client relationships from initial enquiry through to completion.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Generating and developing new business opportunities
  • Managing inbound enquiries and converting leads into clients
  • Proactively contacting prospective clients and identifying sales opportunities
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with business owners, property investors, and professional introducers
  • Understanding clients' funding requirements and matching them with suitable finance solutions
  • Managing the sales process from initial conversation through to completion
  • Following up leads and opportunities to maximize conversion
  • Developing repeat and referral business
  • Negotiating with clients and lenders where appropriate
  • Working towards and exceeding individual sales and revenue targets
  • Maintaining accurate records and managing your pipeline effectively

About You

My client is looking for a sales-driven, ambitious, and commercially-minded individual who enjoys winning new business and building long-term client relationships.

You'll ideally have:

  • Proven experience in a sales or business development environment
  • A confident and persuasive communication style
  • A strong commercial mindset
  • A target-driven and competitive approach
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
  • The ability to identify and close sales opportunities
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Resilience and the determination to follow opportunities through
  • Excellent organisation and pipeline management
