ACCOUNT MANAGER
Location: Cramlington, Northumberland
TEXO Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Account Manager to join our client, a leading provider of print, POS and logistics solutions supplying customers primarily within the retail sector.
This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Account Manager who enjoys building strong client relationships, understanding customer requirements and identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts.
The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of established clients, acting as a key point of contact while working closely with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard and customers receive an excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of existing B2B clients, primarily within the retail sector.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with key customer contacts.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, understanding their requirements and providing commercially focused solutions.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and increase revenue.
- Manage customer projects from initial enquiry through to delivery.
- Prepare quotations, proposals and commercial documentation.
- Work closely with internal print, POS, logistics and operations teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Proactively communicate with clients regarding project progress, requirements and deadlines.
- Handle customer queries and resolve any issues quickly and professionally.
- Monitor account performance and identify opportunities for further development.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular account updates and forecasts.

Requirements
- Proven experience in an Account Management or Client Management role.
- Strong B2B customer relationship management experience.
- Experience working with retail clients would be highly desirable.
- Previous experience within print, POS, packaging, logistics or a related industry would be advantageous.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify account growth opportunities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills.
- Customer-focused with a proactive and solutions-driven approach.
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to build lasting client relationships.
