Role Description:
We are recruiting on behalf of an established, independent Facilities Management provider for an experienced Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of sites across London. This is a multi-site operational role with responsibility for the delivery of cleaning and soft FM services, managing site-based teams and maintaining strong day-to-day relationships with clients. Working closely with the Regional Manager, you will take ownership of operational performance across your portfolio, ensuring services are delivered to the required standards while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
The Role:
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the operational delivery of cleaning and soft FM services across multiple London sites
- Leading, supporting and developing site-based cleaning teams
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients and conducting regular review meetings
- Monitoring contract performance and ensuring agreed service levels are achieved
- Carrying out regular site audits and following through on improvement actions
- Managing performance across operational teams
- Working effectively with supply chain partners
- Ensuring high standards of Health & Safety and compliance across all sites
- Identifying training needs and supporting team development
- Driving continuous improvement and practical service innovation
- Supporting the development of existing client relationships and identifying opportunities for account growth

About You:
Our client is looking for someone with previous experience in an Account Manager, Contracts Manager, Area Manager or similar multi-site role within Facilities Management.
You will ideally have:
- Strong experience within cleaning and soft services
- Experience managing multiple sites and operational teams
- Good knowledge of FM service delivery and the challenges of managing busy client environments
- Strong client relationship and communication skills
- The ability to lead, motivate and manage performance
- Good commercial and financial awareness
- Good IT skills
- Experience managing change and implementing service improvements
- The ability to prioritise a varied workload and meet deadlines
- A proactive, flexible, and solutions-focused approach
