Job Description
At Chicken CycleKit we continue to grow and 100 plus years on, we are still leading the market in all two-wheeled solutions from novice cyclist to professional racer. As we increase and develop our portfolio of world-renowned and in-house brands through expanding our dealer network, we are creating a company that is forward-thinking, agile, passionate and focused on providing the best customer service and selling a wide-ranging portfolio of premium cycles and accessories.
Due to further expansion of the company, we are looking for an additional Account Manager to manage and develop our customer base across Southern England. The successful candidate will be a result-focused individual with strong account & relationship management skills and brand awareness, working collaboratively with our internal sales team to help achieve company goals and grow revenues. The role is all about providing an excellent customer experience, maintaining and reviewing ongoing business and generating new sales opportunities in an ever-shifting marketplace. This person will inherit a base of loyal customers who will need managing to ensure existing relationships are maintained and developed, while also identifying and securing new opportunities.

A background in the cycle or fitness industry would be a distinct advantage along with a firm grip of the product sold and online sales environment, coupled with gritty determination to succeed and passion for driving sales.
Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the territory
- Work collaboratively with the Senior Sales Manager and internal sales team to achieve revenue and profitability targets
- Visit customers to present, demonstrate, educate, and train on products and services
- Advise customers on product solutions, promotions, and commercial opportunities
- Deliver an excellent customer experience in a fast-moving and competitive market

Due to the field-based nature of this role, candidates must be based in Southern England and ideally near the M4 corridor.

Skills/Experience Required
About You:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an account management or field sales role
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Commercially minded, self-motivated, and results-driven
- Be an avid cyclist with the ability to build deep product knowledge
- A knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the territory
