Are you working in healthcare PR or MedComms and interested in broadening your experience?

I’m working with a leading London healthcare communications agency looking for an Account Manager to join its growing team.

The agency works in a genuinely integrated way across healthcare PR and MedComms, with a sprinkling of brand work too, offering the opportunity to broaden your experience beyond one discipline. Their work is predominantly global, with some significant, complex accounts, and their broader healthcare expertise includes a strong presence in rare diseases as well as areas including oncology and diabetes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You don’t need to already have integrated experience (although this would be a bonus). You could come from either a healthcare PR or MedComms background, but you’ll need to be genuinely interested in developing your experience across both.

Healthcare communications agency experience is essential.

They’re looking for someone who brings:

  • Healthcare PR or MedComms agency experience
  • Strong writing skills, including the ability to develop materials such as press releases
  • Confidence understanding and communicating scientific information
  • Strategic thinking and curiosity
  • Strong client and project management skills
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of how successful accounts grow
