The Role

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing existing customer accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring that clients receive the highest level of service. You will act as the key point of contact between TechPoint and its customers, ensuring smooth project execution and long-term partnerships.

  • Serve as the primary contact for assigned customers, developing strong relationships to drive long-term business success.
  • Ensure customer requirements, expectations, and technical needs are effectively communicated to internal teams.
  • Conduct regular customer meetings (both on-site and remote) to review performance, discuss ongoing projects, and explore new opportunities.
  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities within existing accounts and work with external Sales Team to develop new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for business expansion.
  • Lead contract renewals, pricing negotiations, and proposal development to maximise revenue.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and production teams to ensure smooth execution of customer projects.

About you

  • Experience in Electronics Manufacturing or related industries.
  • Strong account management and business development skills, with a proven track record of growing customer accounts.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities to engage with technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
  • Willingness to travel across England for customer meetings.
  • Technical background in electronics, PCB assembly, manufacturing and supply chain solutions as a service would be a plus.
  • Experience in working with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
