The role

Airfix, Quick Build and Humbrol, three of the most recognised names in modelling, are creating a dedicated commercial team for the first time. We run it like a start-up inside a heritage business: small, fast and accountable.

You will own and grow volume within the existing trade base for the three brands: independent retailers and national accounts (an increasing focus over time).

You will be key in setting up the systems and processes to manage the portfolio, from CRM ownership to defining how accounts are planned, tracked and reviewed.

Key responsibilities

  • Own a portfolio of trade accounts and maintain expected revenue and margin across the three brands.
  • Lead the handover of customers from the existing group sales team - relationships, terms and existing sales negotiations.
  • Build joint business plans with key accounts; sell in new ranges and seasonal launches; run trade promotions within agreed margin frameworks.
  • Forecast accurately by account and SKU, working with supply chain on availability and slow-moving stock.
  • Focus on building and maintaining relationships in person via store visits, range reviews and trade shows.
  • Report performance, pipeline and risks via the weekly Sales & Marketing review.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
