The Role
The role of the Account Manager – Aluminium Fabricators will involve:
- Field sales position, promoting a manufactured range of aluminium systems (façade systems, curtain walling and aluminium doors & windows)
- Responsible for circa 20 fabricator accounts (10 actively spending|)
- Approx. £4m revenue responsibility
- 80-90% account management, 10-20% on-boarding 2 new fabricator customers per annum
- Targeting fabricators capable of a minimum of £100,000+ turnover, but can be £1m
- Inheriting an established territory
- Majority of the customers are based along the M62, but also Newcastle and into Scotland

The Ideal Applicant
The ideal applicant will be a Business Development Manager – Aluminium Fabricators with:

- Worked for or sold to a fabricator, ideally aluminium
- Ideally with aluminium fabricator network knowledge
- May be open to PVC or composite fabricator backgrounds or aluminium system house backgrounds
- Account manager/ relationship management experience
- IT literate, CRM proficient
- Specific knowledge of curtain walling and aluminium doors & windows is not essential but may be advantageous
- Ability to sell on quality over price
- Outgoing personality
