Account Manager

Asset Impact is seeking an Account Manager whose primary responsibilities will be to own and develop existing accounts end-to-end. This spans client onboarding, relationship management, product delivery, and business development. Reporting to senior management, the Account Manager will be directly responsible for our existing clients.

The position requires a candidate skilled in building and maintaining relationships across multiple stakeholders within large institutional clients. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in strategic account planning and execution and a customer-first mindset. They will have significant client-facing experience, be organized and highly detail-oriented, and enjoy structuring and improving internal processes.

We are also looking for a strong track record in account management and/or sales, particularly with, or within, financial institutions. Knowledge of sustainability and the energy transition is desirable but not essential.

In this role, you will play a vital part in the Asset Impact team. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with business development teams across the wider GRESB group to identify and realize cross-selling opportunities.

We offer a unique opportunity to play a global role in a mission-driven organization that is paving the way to a more sustainable economy.

Your Responsibilities

We work with large global financial institutions, governments, consultancies, and non-profit organizations to catalyze action on climate change through data and analytics on the energy transition. In your role, you will own relationships with existing clients and partners, which include many of the world's largest banks.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Own account management framework and execution across the business
  • Own long-term relationships across our book of existing institutional clients. Proactively understand and develop their priorities, use cases, and challenges, and identify and develop key internal sponsors.
  • Meet net revenue retention targets by identifying and closing new business opportunities with existing clients
  • Continuously monitor and improve account management strategy and execution, including through refinement of existing processes and tooling
  • Convey feedback to the Product team to support the improvement of existing products and provide input to the product roadmap
  • Manage delivery of products to clients, in coordination with the Product team

Requirements

  • Five or more years of experience working in a client-facing role, for example in a consultant, sales or client relationship position. Previous experience in the areas of climate, sustainability and/or the financial industry is strongly preferred
  • Experience in building and managing relationships with institutional clients, particularly in the banking sector
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, engineering, economics, sustainable finance). Master's degree is preferred
  • Comfortable using AI tools to manage, improve, and track account management processes and workflows.
  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in English is mandatory.
  • Other European languages will be considered a strong plus, particularly French
  • Based in London, Paris, or Amsterdam

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
